Bryan and Shanece, the last night I spent in the quarter. We began the night with beers and a little movie time in their Royal Street apartment. Beers continued as we left and strolled the streets as they filled with tourists looking to experience the night life that is the quarter.

This was taken hours before I left to return back to Lawrence. These men are working on repairing a small section of the roof as tourists walk underneath them. A lookout, standing off camera to the left, would scream at his workers in spanish to quit as a group of unsuspecting humans would wander by.

As we returned to the apartment, this group of women walked about 50 feet in front of us. This is taken just feet from the front door to my temporary casa, these red leggings kept my attention for blocks.

Niko, Magician on a Motorcycle. From Washington, this traveling street performer has called New Orleans home for quite a few months.  A friend of my hosts, we always stopped to see his show and chat with him about what corner he would set up his stage next.
